Different Types of Account Users and Roles
Once you purchase a plan with Userlytics, you have the option to assign different admin account types and roles within your team. Changing a team member’s admin role allows you to restrict or allow certain access to different users of your client account. There are three types of admin roles which allow different access to the user dashboard and tests: Super Admin, Admin, and User.
What Capabilities Does Each Account Role Have?
Super Admin: Can create new user accounts, assign and reassign credits amongst users, edit roles, access all user accounts and can also see usage reports.
Admin: Has access to all user accounts and can see usage reports, but cannot assign and reassign credits amongst accounts/users, nor create new user accounts, and cannot edit roles.
User: Only has access to their own account.
How Do I Change Admin Roles?
You can change admin roles by accessing the “User Admin” tab on your dashboard, and using the drop-down box to choose the admin role you wish to set. If you don’t see this option on your dashboard, ask the account owner to give you access.
How do I Invite Other Team Members to my Project?
If you would like to invite additional team members to your project, you can do so by scrolling to the bottom of the “User Admin” page. Once there, you will find a section that says “Invite Team Member.” Here, you can insert your team member’s first and last name, their email, and the role you would like to assign them.
How Do I Interact with My Teammates’ Test Results?
Userlytics is currently working on a platform update that will allow account holders to view and interact with their teammates UX test results in a more simplistic, streamlined manner. However, currently, to interact with your teammates’ test results, you need to login to their Userlytics account via the “User Admin” page on your dashboard.
To do this, once you are on the “User Admin” tab, scroll down until you find the name of the teammate whose UX test results you want to interact with. Then, click on the blue icon with a right-facing arrow to login to their Userlytics account. From there, you will have access to all their test recordings, metrics, annotations and other valuable data.
